At the same time, should be a bit careful has the water is rough and water level changes suddenly.
The Kodi Cliff nearby offers a panoramic view of the beach. Just like in Bekal, dolphins are occasionally sighted at Kappil too.
In most of the times,it remains less crowded and offers the tourists greater calm and peace of mind. The clean & reddish tinge sand with the sun-kissed golden glow rejuvenates every traveller’s mind.
The best way to spend time here is to sit back and enjoy the calm and peaceful Kappil beach. Scenic backwaters, beach and facilities for watersport are available. Nellatil, Edava, paravur, Nadayara, varkala etc. are locations in the vicinity which are worth visiting.
Kappil is also famous for Kappil Bhagavathy temple and a tourist spot during the festival season. For those who prefer Thoreau to Harold Robbins, the secluded and relatively unexplored Kappil Beach should prove idyllic. Remote and secluded, this beach is fast becoming a major tourist attraction. The Kodi Cliff nearby offers a panoramic view of the Arabian Sea and 2 km away is the Pallikunnam Temple. The beach is one of the cleanest and unpolluted beaches of Kerala.
